Carmen Tsang graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University. After her graduation, she pursued a professional music career as piano accompanist in Hong Kong's core music-related fields, namely ballet, singing and instrumental performances. She has won numerous awards in the Hong Kong Music Festival Piano competition. She was awarded the International BC Scholarship to pursue her postgraduate study at the Birmingham Conservatoire in 2015.
Tsang is active in the performing arts. She has participated in concerts as soloist, played ensembles and conducted choirs. Tsang's experience includes participation in several operatic productions with Opera Hong Kong including Bizet's Carmen (2006), Gounod's Romeo & Juliet (2007), Verdi's Aida (2007), Don Carlo (2008) and Puccini's La Boheme (2010). She also sung as a soloist in the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Exhibition opening ceremony and also participated in several concerts, such as in the opening scene as second lady in Mozart's Magic Flute in 2009.
