"Fascination with colour and form coupled with the search for the understanding through art lie at the heart of my work. I rely on both traditional and modern media, focusing in particular on oil painting, drawing and digital art techniques."

Maria's work includes painting, drawing, pastels, traditional printmaking, computer graphics and installation. She is also involved in desktop publishing.

Her work has been exhibited all over Europe as well as Russia and Latin America, and has received several awards. She took part in 150 group exhibitions and in a few solo exhibitions.

Maria holds a Masters Degree in Fine Art from The Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland (from Department of Paintings, Graphics and Sculpture) and has since also studied Exposition and Display at The National College of Arts.
