MO 2Ogden first established herself as a portrait artist but has recently taken a new direction toward contemporary mixed media. Born in in the United States, she began oil painting as a child with a private tutor and then at the Canton Art Institute. As an adult, she taught herself portraiture and worked almost exclusively on commissions.

Her work has won numerous awards in juried exhibitions: CELEBRATE THE HEALING POWER OF ART exhibition of Manhattan Arts International, New York; 15TH ANNUAL ALL MEDIA JURIED ONLINE INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION, Omaha, Nebraska; DEFOOR CENTER Atlanta, Georgia; AQUEOUS- KENTUCKY WATERCOLOR SOCIETY'S NATIONAL EXHIBIT, traveling to 12 cities; GRAND EXHIBITION OF ARTISTS Akron, Ohio; and MASTERWORKS ART EXHIBITION, Dunwoody, Georgia. She painted at MASTERPIECE GALLERIES, Boca Raton, Florida; and IL-FESTA F'SANT'ANTON at the President's private garden, San Anton Palace of Malta. She also teaches various art courses and exhibits in Malta, has led seminars, appeared in television interviews, and co-presented tours of the US Ambassador's art collection.

Ogden is now living in Malta and creating large allegorical mixed-media work. Her imagery explores how classic themes of the "Hero's Journey" in folklore, literature, and modern cinema relate to actual personal narratives. She believes that visual stories can draw from our collective wisdom to guide us - helping us ask better questions, appreciate our challenges, and develop a deeper sense of gratitude.
